What this recall means for you
Certain motorhomes have seat belt automatic locking retractors that may deactivate early. When this happens, a child restraint system may not be secured properly, and the vehicle does not meet federal occupant crash protection requirements.
An unsecured child restraint can increase the risk of injury to a child during a crash. If you own an affected vehicle and transport children, have the seat belt retractors checked as soon as possible.
Authorized dealers will inspect the seat belt retractors and replace them as needed, free of charge. Owners were notified by letter starting December 21, 2021, and may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. You can also check your VIN for open recalls.
