Ranger Trail Boat Trailer Recall 21V857: Tires may rub fenders, risking tire failure and crash

NHTSA campaign 21V857, reported November 4, 2021, 380 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some 2022 boat trailers may have fenders spaced improperly, so the tires can contact the fenders while the trailer is in use. This contact can cause the tires to wear out early.

Premature tire wear can lead to tire failure while towing, which increases the risk of a crash.

Authorized dealers will inspect the fender spacing and correct it if needed, at no cost to you. Owners were mailed notification letters beginning November 12, 2021. You can also contact Tracker customer service at 1-417-873-4555, and check your trailer's VIN for any open recalls.
