What this recall means for you
The front axle of this vehicle was fitted with brake discs of the wrong size. Because the discs are not the correct specification, braking performance may be affected, meaning the vehicle could take longer to stop than intended.
A longer stopping distance raises the risk of a crash, especially in emergency braking or when following other vehicles closely. Owners should be alert to any change in how the brakes feel or respond.
An authorized dealer will replace the front brake discs free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 13, 2021. To check whether your vehicle is affected, or to ask about the repair, contact Daimler Vans USA customer service at 1-877-762-8267 and reference recall number VS3BRESCHE. You can also check your VIN for open recalls on the NHTSA website.
