Tiger Bengal TX Recall 21V803: Window Vent Adhesive May Fail, Detaching the Vent

NHTSA campaign 21V803, reported October 14, 2021, 13 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2019 and 2020 Tiger Bengal TX campers equipped with Lippert Hehr 6400 Series windows may have an adhesive that bonds the vented portion of the window and can fail. If the adhesive fails, the vent portion of the window may detach from the camper.

A detached window vent increases the risk of a crash or injury. Owners should stop relying on a window vent that looks loose, shifted, or separated, and should not assume it is secure.

Authorized dealers will inspect the windows and replace the vent if necessary, at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed October 26, 2021. You can contact Provan Industries customer service at 1-803-955-3001 for more information, and check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for any open recalls.
