NRC Motor Home Recall 21V624: Motorhome window vent may detach while driving

NHTSA campaign 21V624, reported August 9, 2021, 7 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2018-2019 motorhomes are equipped with Hehr 6400 Series windows, and the adhesive that bonds the vented portion of the window may fail. If the adhesive fails, the vent can detach from the window frame while the vehicle is in use.

A detached vent increases the risk of a crash or injury, so owners should not ignore this recall. Authorized dealers will inspect the windows and replace the vent if necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed October 13, 2021. For questions, contact NRC Modifications customer service at 1-574-825-3646.

If you are unsure whether your motorhome is affected, check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls and schedule the inspection with an authorized dealer.
