NHTSA campaign 21V623, reported August 10, 2021, 4 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The electric fuel heater inside the fuel module can overheat. When this happens, the plastic in the heater can melt and may catch fire. The problem can also cause the engine to stall while the vehicle is being driven.

A fire creates a risk of injury to occupants, and a sudden engine stall can increase the risk of a crash. Owners should take this recall seriously and have the vehicle inspected and repaired as soon as possible.

The remedy is free. Cummins will replace the fuel heater with a newly designed part at an authorized dealer at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed August 18, 2021.
