What this recall means for you
Some 2020-2022 Cadillac CT4 and CT5 vehicles may have roof rail side-curtain airbags that were not installed correctly. The airbags could fail to deploy properly during a crash.
Airbags that do not deploy properly can increase the risk of injury to occupants in a crash. Because the side-curtain airbags protect the head and upper body during a side impact or rollover, an improper deployment could leave occupants less protected.
An authorized Cadillac dealer will inspect the left and right roof rail airbags and reinstall them if necessary, at no cost to you. Owners may contact Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006. You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls to confirm whether your vehicle is affected.
