Lamborghini Urus Recall 21V603: Rear Seat Belt May Not Secure Child Seats

NHTSA campaign 21V603, reported August 4, 2021, 224 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The middle rear passenger seat belt's automatic locking retractor may release early. When this happens, a child restraint system may not stay properly secured in the seat.

An unsecured child seat can increase the risk of injury to a child in a crash. The affected vehicles also do not meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 208 for occupant crash protection.

Authorized dealers will inspect the seat belt assemblies and replace them as needed, at no cost to you. Owners were notified by letter starting October 1, 2021, or can call Lamborghini customer service at 1-866-681-6276 and reference recall L636-R.04.21.
