NHTSA campaign 21V543, reported July 20, 2021, 19 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The adhesive that bonds the vented portion of the window may fail over time. If it does, the vent section can come loose from the vehicle.

A detached window vent increases the risk of a crash or injury. Owners should not wait for a problem to appear before getting the vehicle checked.

Newell will inspect the windows and replace the vent if necessary, at no cost to the owner. Contact Newell customer service at 1-888-363-9355, and check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls at an authorized dealer or the NHTSA recall lookup site.
