- Bwise Manufacturing (Bwise) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Utility, Car Hauler, Dump, Tilt and Equipment trailers equipped with Wallace Forge medium-duty adjustable mount couplers. The coupler may experience excessive play due to a missing .750" radius piece.
- Risk
- Excessive play of the mount coupler can cause the trailer to uncouple, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy
- Dealers will replace the coupler, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on September 10, 2021. Owners may contact Bwise's customer service at 1-717-261-0922.

What this recall means for you
Certain trailers are equipped with a medium-duty adjustable mount coupler that may have excessive play because a required 0.750-inch radius piece is missing. This extra movement in the coupler can allow the trailer to uncouple from the towing vehicle while in use.
If the trailer separates from the tow vehicle, it can cause a crash, so the problem is a serious safety risk for anyone towing the affected trailer. Owners should stop using the trailer for towing until the coupler has been checked or replaced.
