Roadtrek Zion SRT Recall 21V477: Missing Carbon Monoxide Alarm May Go Undetected

NHTSA campaign 21V477, reported June 25, 2021, 122 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some 2020-2021 Roadtrek motorhomes may have been built with an incorrect gas detector that lacks a carbon monoxide alarm. As a result, the presence of carbon monoxide gas may not be detected inside the vehicle.

Undetected carbon monoxide increases the risk of injury or death for occupants, since the gas is odorless and colorless and the vehicle's warning would not sound. Owners should contact Roadtrek customer service at 1-519-745-1160 (Roadtrek recall number 2021-02). Roadtrek will ship a carbon monoxide detector to be mounted in the vehicle free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on June 29, 2021. You can also check your VIN for any open recalls.
