What this recall means for you
Certain Host Campers trailers from model years 2019 and 2020 have a Dometic three-burner cooking stove where the bolt that secures a saddle valve may be overtightened. This can damage the valve's o-ring seal and cause a continuous gas leak from the liquid propane (LPG) system.
A gas leak increases the risk of a fire. Owners should stop using the stove if they notice a gas smell, and follow the recall instructions to have the problem corrected.
Dometic service centers will install a remedy kit containing gaskets, washers, thread locker bolts, and two round orange labels, at no cost to the owner. Owners will also be notified by mail, which was sent February 25, 2022. You can contact Host customer service at 1-514-330-2328, and check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for any open recalls.
