NHTSA campaign 21V399, reported May 27, 2021, 276 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The sealing washer on the high-pressure fuel rail assembly may not seat correctly in the pilot bore holes, which can allow diesel fuel to leak from the rail. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

If you own an affected vehicle, contact Temsa customer service at 1-800-625-9319 and check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls. The remedy is free: Cummins will inspect the rail threads and fuel lines and replace the fuel rail as necessary, at no charge to you. Owner notification letters were mailed on July 30, 2021.
