What this recall means for you
The vehicle's certification label may list an incorrect occupant and cargo carrying capacity. Because the label may overstate or misstate how much weight the vehicle can safely carry, the vehicle may fail to meet federal wheel and rim and certification requirements.
If the vehicle is loaded beyond its true capacity, the operator may overload it, which increases the risk of a crash. Owners should be careful not to exceed the weight limits and should not rely on the current label for load planning until the corrected label is installed.
Airstream will mail owners a new label at no cost. Owner letters were mailed June 10, 2021. To get a replacement label or ask questions, contact Airstream customer service at 1-877-596-6505 or 1-937-596-6111, ext. 7401 or 7411. You can also check your VIN for any open recalls.
