NHTSA campaign 21V126, reported March 1, 2021, 613 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2017-2020 Altec DT65-E and DT65-H utility vehicles have a capacity placard plate mounted on the left-hand control pod in a location that can create a pinch point between the boom and the plate. Altec Industries will notify owners, who will receive instructions to relocate the placard plate from the left-hand control pod to the right-hand control pod. The remedy is free of charge. The recall began April 16, 2021. Owners can contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832, referencing recall number CSN 800.

If you own one of these vehicles, keep your hands clear of the placard plate area when operating the boom until the relocation is completed. You can also check your VIN for open recalls on NHTSA's website and confirm the repair with an authorized dealer.
