Jaguar F-Pace Recall 21V118: High beams may be on without a dashboard warning

NHTSA campaign 21V118, reported February 25, 2021, 455 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

On certain 2019 and 2020 Jaguar F-Pace vehicles, the Auto High Beam system does not show on the instrument cluster when the high beams have turned on automatically. Because the driver may not know the high beams are lit, the vehicles do not meet federal lighting requirements, and the driver may be less aware of the lights' status.

The risk is that reduced visibility for oncoming traffic can increase the chance of a crash, since drivers may not realize their high beams are on and may not dim them when needed.

Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will update the vehicle software at no cost. Owners can contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827 (Jaguar recall number H332), and should check their VIN for open recalls.
