What this recall means for you
Certain trailers equipped with the WABCO 2S/2M iABS anti-lock brake system may have the sensor cables plugged into the wrong ports on the electronic control unit. If this happens, the anti-lock brake system may not work properly.
A malfunctioning anti-lock brake system raises the risk of a crash, because the brakes may not perform as designed during hard braking. Owners should take this recall seriously and have their trailer checked.
The repair is free. Dealers will inspect how the iABS sensor cables are routed and correct them if needed. Owners can contact Great Dane customer service at 1-877-369-3493, and should check their vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
