Dutchmen Voltage Recall 21V021: Wrong tire pressure on label could cause overinflation

NHTSA campaign 21V021, reported January 21, 2021, 207 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2020-2021 Dutchmen Voltage recreational trailers have a Federal Identification Tag that incorrectly lists the recommended tire pressure as 110 PSI. The correct recommended tire pressure is 95 PSI. Because the label is wrong, the tires could be overinflated, which increases the risk of a crash.

Keystone RV Company will notify owners of affected trailers. Authorized dealers will replace the Federal Identification Tag free of charge. The recall began February 3, 2021. You can contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369 (Keystone recall number 21-399) and check your VIN for open recalls.

If you own one of these trailers, check your tire pressure against the correct specification of 95 PSI and do not rely on the 110 PSI figure on the old label until the tag is replaced.
