Bugatti Divo Recall 20V731: Rear driveshaft may break and detach, creating crash risk

NHTSA campaign 20V731, reported November 24, 2020, 3 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2020 vehicles may have a rear left-hand driveshaft that can break. The driveshaft transmits power from the engine to the wheels, and a failure can cause a broken driveshaft to come loose from the vehicle.

If parts detach, they can become a road hazard for you and other drivers, which increases the risk of a crash. Owners should be aware of this risk and address the recall promptly.

The remedy is free: an authorized dealer will replace the rear left-hand driveshaft at no cost to you. Bugatti will notify owners directly. You can also contact Bugatti customer service at 1-703-826-7545, and check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
