Ferrari 812 Superfast Recall 20V614: Rear window may detach while driving, raising crash risk

NHTSA campaign 20V614, reported October 6, 2020, 1,063 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2018-2020 812 Superfast vehicles may have had the rear window bonded incorrectly during assembly. Over time, the adhesive may lose its hold, so the window could fully detach from the vehicle.

A detached rear window creates a road hazard for other drivers and increases the risk of a crash. Owners should take this recall seriously and arrange the repair promptly.

The remedy is free of charge: an authorized dealer will replace the rear window. Ferrari will notify affected owners, and you can also contact Ferrari customer service at 1-201-816-2668. Check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls to confirm whether your car is included.
