What this recall means for you
Certain 2021 motorhomes built with Villa power seats may have seat wiring that chafes because it is poorly routed and unprotected, or that melts because it carries more current than the 14 gauge wire can safely handle. Damaged wires can short circuit and increase the risk of a fire.
Jayco will notify owners. Dealers will inspect the power seat wiring, add loom protection, and secure the wiring with wire ties at no cost to you. The remedy for the seat switch and the amp capacity issue is still being developed, so the dealer may need to address that separately later. Owners can contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-517-9137 and reference recall number 9903521. Check your vehicle identification number for open recalls to confirm whether your motorhome is affected.
