Braxton Creek Bushwacker Recall 20V572: Incorrect tire pressure label could lead to overinflation and crash risk

NHTSA campaign 20V572, reported September 23, 2020, 702 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The tire data sticker on certain 2020 travel trailers incorrectly lists a recommended tire pressure of 65 PSI, while the tires have a maximum pressure of 50 PSI. An owner following the sticker could overinflate the tires, which increases the risk of a crash.

If you own a 2020 Bushwhacker or Bushwhacker Plus travel trailer, check the tire data label and do not inflate the tires above the 50 PSI maximum. The manufacturer, Braxton Creek RV, will notify owners and send new tire labels with the correct pressure information at no cost. You can contact Braxton customer service at 1-260-768-7932.

To confirm whether your vehicle is included in this or any other open recall, check your VIN on the NHTSA recall lookup site. Repairs under recall are free at an authorized dealer.
