Isuzu NPR Recall 20V193: Rear Brake Line May Contact Bolt, Reducing Braking

NHTSA campaign 20V193, reported April 3, 2020, 157 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The brake line clips on the rear driver-side brake line may have been installed incorrectly. This could allow the line to contact a grounding bolt, which may cause a loss of the rear driver-side brakes.

If the rear driver-side brake fails, the vehicle may have reduced braking, which increases the risk of a crash. Owners should check their VIN for open recalls and contact Isuzu customer service at 1-866-441-9638 with questions.

Isuzu will notify owners. Authorized dealers will inspect the brake line and replace the brake line assembly or reposition the line into the proper position, as needed, at no cost to the owner.
