Forest River Berkshire Recall 20V161: Loose Brake Caliper Bolts Can Reduce Braking

NHTSA campaign 20V161, reported March 19, 2020, 53 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some motorhomes built in 2019 and 2020 may have brake caliper mounting bolts that were not tightened enough during assembly. Loose bolts can reduce how well the brakes work, which raises the risk of a crash.

If you own one of these vehicles, contact Daimler Trucks (DTNA) customer service at 1-800-745-8000 or visit an authorized DTNA dealer. The inspection and any needed repair are free of charge. Forest River will also notify owners directly, and you can check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls to confirm whether your motorhome is affected.
