Infiniti Q60 Recall 20V145: Rear Seat Belts May Not Lock During Multiple-Impact Crashes

NHTSA campaign 20V145, reported March 13, 2020, 275 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2020 Infiniti Q60 vehicles have rear seat belts whose webbing sensor locking mechanism may not lock as intended. The belt may fail to properly hold rear occupants in place.

If the vehicle is in a crash involving multiple impacts, the seat belt may not properly restrain the occupant, increasing the risk of injury. Owners should not assume their rear belts will lock as designed until the recall work is completed.

Nissan will notify owners, and authorized dealers will inspect the rear seat belt assembly production dates and replace the assemblies as necessary, free of charge. Owners can contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669, and should check their VIN for open recalls.
