NHTSA campaign 20V032, reported January 20, 2020, 50 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

This recall covers certain 2019 vehicles. When the steering is turned fully to the right, the brake line can contact the steering main-link. Over time, that contact can wear through the hard brake line.

If the brake line wears through, the vehicle may lose braking ability, which increases the risk of a crash.

The manufacturer will notify owners and inspect the clearance between the hard brake line and the steering main-link, correcting it as needed at no cost to you. Owners may contact Arcimoto customer service at 1-541-683-6293. Check your VIN for open recalls to confirm whether your vehicle is affected.
