Jayco Melbourne Prestige Recall 19V845: Propane Tank Can Dislodge, Raising Fire Risk

NHTSA campaign 19V845, reported November 25, 2019, 398 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The liquid propane tank hangers on these motorhomes may be the wrong size and have insufficient welding, so the LP tank can come loose while the vehicle is in transit.

If the propane tank dislodges during travel, it can increase the risk of a crash and ignition of the propane, which creates a serious fire and safety hazard for occupants and others nearby.

Dealers will install a support bracket on each side of the propane tank at no cost to you. Contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-517-9137, and check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for any open recalls.
