NHTSA campaign 19V779, reported October 30, 2019, 15 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain aerial devices, which are the boom-mounted lifts used on utility and work trucks, have not been stability tested as required by the ANSI A92.2 standard. Because the stability of the device has not been verified, it may suddenly collapse during use.

A collapsing aerial device creates a serious risk of injury or death to the operator and anyone nearby. Owners should contact Altec Industries Inc. at 1-877-462-5832. Altec will notify owners and instruct them to perform a stability test on the device. Check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls, and stop using the aerial device until the required testing has been completed.
