Temp Air EBB-80 Recall 19V778: Hitch Coupling Can Limit Leveling, Risking Trailer Drag

NHTSA campaign 19V778, reported October 30, 2019, 8 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2017-2019 EBB-80 trailers may have an incorrect hitch coupling installed. This limits how far the hitch height can be adjusted, so the trailer receiver angle may not be correct and the trailer may not be properly leveled.

If the hitch height cannot be adjusted to level the trailer, the trailer may suddenly drag while towing. This increases the risk of a crash.

Owners will be notified by Temp-Rail, and the hitch rail will be replaced with the correct part free of charge. Owners can also contact Temp-Rail customer service at 1-952-894-3000, and should check their VIN for open recalls.
