Dutchmen Atlas Recall 19V746: Propane Hose May Melt and Leak, Risking Fire

NHTSA campaign 19V746, reported October 18, 2019, 5 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

A non-metallic propane supply hose may have been installed inside the cooktop burner box instead of the copper hose the trailer was designed to use. Under certain conditions, heat from the range burner can cause this hose to melt and leak propane, which raises the risk of fire or injury.

If you own this trailer, contact Keystone RV Company customer service at 1-866-425-4369 (recall number 19-363) to confirm your vehicle is included. Keystone will notify owners, and the repair is free: an authorized dealer will remove the non-metallic propane gas line and connect a copper propane gas line in its place. You can also check your VIN for open recalls.
