Jaguar F-Type Recall 19V682: Wrong rear tire size on door label may cause crash risk

NHTSA campaign 19V682, reported September 27, 2019, 241 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain F-Type vehicles with 18-inch rear wheels have a tire placard label on the driver's door opening that lists an incorrect rear tire size. This means the vehicle does not meet a federal tire selection and rim standard.

Because the label gives the wrong size, an owner could mount tires that do not match the vehicle's specifications. That could affect handling and raise the risk of a crash.

The dealer will replace the tire placard label with one showing the correct rear tire size, at no cost to you. Owners can also contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls to see whether your car is affected.
