Spartan Gladiator Recall 19V674: Severed air line can cause brakes to lock unexpectedly

What this recall means for you

Certain Spartan Emergency Response Gladiator and Spartan vehicles equipped with a pneumatically controlled automatic tire chain system may have air pressure control lines that are not pressure-protected. This means that if a control line is severed, air can suddenly be lost from the service reservoir system. The vehicle's brakes can then apply unexpectedly, which increases the risk of a crash.

The remedy is free. Spartan will notify owners, and an authorized dealer will inspect how the control lines are routed and reroute them into the auxiliary air reservoir where needed.
