Cruiser RV South Fork Recall 19V672: Upper Bunk Can Fall, Risking Injury

NHTSA campaign 19V672, reported September 20, 2019, 15 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

On certain 2020 recreational trailers, wood backers that support the bunk beds were not installed on the slide-out bunk end walls during manufacturing. Without them, the upper bunk bed may not be properly secured and could fall.

If the bed falls while someone is on or under it, there is an increased risk of injury. Owners should stop using the upper bunk until it has been checked and secured.

The repair is free. Cruiser will notify affected owners, and an authorized dealer will install the wood backers to secure the bunk bed at no charge. Contact Cruiser customer service at 1-574-206-7920, and check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
