Crossroads Cruiser Recall 19V596: Fifth-wheel pin box bolts may be too short, risking crash

NHTSA campaign 19V596, reported August 14, 2019, 9 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2020 Crossroads Cruiser fifth-wheel trailers were built with Morryde rotating pin boxes that may be attached with bolts that are too short. Under certain conditions, the pin box can rotate in two places instead of one.

This increases the risk of a crash. If you own an affected trailer, have it inspected and do not ignore the issue. The repair is free: authorized dealers will inspect the pin box and replace the bolts if necessary. Keystone RV Company will also notify owners directly, and you can call Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369 for more information. Check your VIN for any open recalls, and reference Keystone recall number 19-358 when contacting the company.
