The fix is a software update to the forward collision-avoidance system, performed by an authorized dealer at no cost to you. Kia will also notify owners directly. You can check whether your vehicle has any open recalls by entering your VIN on the NHTSA or Kia website, and you can contact Kia customer service at 1-800-333-4542 with questions about this recall.
