NHTSA campaign 19V455, reported June 17, 2019, 542 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2017 and 2018 Altec aerial devices (LR7, TA50/55/60 and L42/45 models) may have multiple fasteners securing the rotation bearing that can break. If that happens, the pedestal can separate from the turntable.

A separated pedestal can increase the risk of injury or death for operators and anyone nearby. Owners will be notified by Altec, and authorized dealers will replace the affected fasteners free of charge. Altec customer service can be reached at 1-877-462-5832 (recall CSN 722).
