Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Recall 19V421: Washer Fuse May Fail, Cutting Driver Visibility

NHTSA campaign 19V421, reported June 6, 2019, 2,200 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The fuse for the front and rear windshield washer systems may fail, which can reduce the driver's visibility. The affected vehicles do not meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 104 for windshield wiping and washing systems.

Reduced visibility can increase the risk of a crash. If your washer system stops working or your view is impaired, take care when driving and have the vehicle checked promptly.

The remedy is free at an authorized dealer: the fuse for the front and rear washer systems will be replaced, the Engine Junction Box lid will be replaced, and an owner's manual insert with updated fuse rating information will be added. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837 (recall N341). You can also check your VIN for open recalls.
