What this recall means for you

On certain 2017-2018 Type I ambulances built on Ford chassis and equipped with ASA Electronics Voyager monitors, the monitor that displays the back-up camera image may unexpectedly revert to its factory default settings. When this happens, the camera image can appear reversed, so a driver may turn the wrong way to avoid an object behind the vehicle, which increases the risk of a crash.

Life Line Emergency Vehicles will work with ASA Electronics to notify owners and provide a remedy at no cost. Owners can contact ASA Electronics customer service at 1-800-384-4400 or Life Line Emergency Vehicles at 1-563-578-3317 for more information. The recall began March 29, 2019.
