What this recall means for you
The rear clearance lamp on certain vehicles may be mounted in the wrong position, where it blocks part of the light pattern the lamp is required to project. As a result, these vehicles do not meet the lighting requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108.
When the rear clearance lamps are hard to see, other drivers may not notice the vehicle in time, which can increase the risk of a crash. The manufacturer has said the lamps should be relocated to a proper position to correct the problem.
Owners will be notified by Supreme Corporation, and the repair is free at an authorized dealer, where the rear clearance lamps will be moved to an appropriate location. You can contact Supreme customer service at 1-844-352-4921, and you should check your vehicle's VIN for open recalls.
