Jayco Travel Trailer JAY Flight Recall 19V335: Water Tank Supports May Break, Causing Tank to Detach

NHTSA campaign 19V335, reported April 30, 2019, 86 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2019 Jay Flight TF travel trailers (model 32RLOK) may have fresh water tank supports that are too thin. The brackets can break, allowing the tank to detach from the trailer.

A detached water tank can fall onto the road while the trailer is being towed, creating a road hazard that increases the risk of a crash. If you own an affected trailer, do not ignore this notice.

The repair is free. Authorized Jayco dealers will install a threaded rod in the center of the water tank support apparatus to add support. You can contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-517-9137 (recall number 9901433), and you can check your trailer's VIN for open recalls.
