What this recall means for you
Certain IC Bus school buses from model years 2017 through 2020 have a diesel fuel heater whose electrical wiring may overheat. A fire increases the risk of injury, and a sudden engine stall can increase the risk of a crash.
Cummins will notify affected owners. Authorized Cummins dealers will replace the fuel heater with a newly designed part at no charge. Owners can contact Cummins customer service at 1-800-286-6467 or Navistar customer service at 1-800-448-7825, and should check their vehicle identification number for open recalls.
