What this recall means for you
Certain run-flat tires may have a sidewall reinforcement layer that cracked during the tire-on-wheel assembly process. Over time, this damage could allow the tire's tread layer to separate from the tire.
If a tread separates, vehicle handling and stability may be affected, which increases the risk of a crash. Owners should take this seriously and not ignore warning signs such as unusual vibration, handling changes, or visible tire damage.
The replacement of affected tires is free at an authorized Lexus dealer. Toyota will notify owners, and you can also contact Lexus customer service at 1-800-255-3987. You can check your VIN for open recalls to confirm whether your vehicle is included.
