- Problem
- Spartan Motors USA (Spartan) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Fleet Services Truck Body and Velocity vehicles. The affected vehicles are equipped with ASA Electronics monitors for displaying the backup camera images, model number VOM74MMx. The affected monitors may revert back to the factory default settings which may cause the camera image to be reversed.
- Risk
- If the monitor displays the image in reverse, the driver may unintentionally turn in the wrong direction, increasing the risk of crash.
- Remedy
- Spartan will notify owners, and dealers will install a relay harness with a capacitor, free of charge. Owners may contact Spartan customer service at 1-800-543-5008. Spartan's number for this recall is 19002.

What this recall means for you
Certain 2018-2019 Utilimaster truck body and Velocity vehicles are equipped with an ASA Electronics backup camera monitor (model VOM74MMx). The monitor can revert to its factory default settings, which may cause the camera image to appear reversed.
