NHTSA campaign 18V921, reported December 20, 2018, 1,082 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some 2017-2018 Clarity Fuel Cell vehicles that were previously repaired under an earlier software recall may still have a problem. The fuel cell control unit can misread a small drop in cell voltage, which can cause the vehicle to lose part or all of its power.

A loss of power while driving can increase the risk of a crash. If your vehicle is affected, the fuel cell control unit software will be updated by an authorized dealer at no cost to you. You can also contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138, referencing recall A3O, and check your VIN for any open recalls.
