What this recall means for you
Some headlights on these vehicles may not be properly aimed. If the low beams are misadjusted, the driver can have reduced visibility at night, which raises the risk of a crash. The vehicles also fail to meet the federal lighting standard (FMVSS 108) because of this.
An authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer will inspect the headlight setting and adjust it if needed. The repair is free of charge. Owners can also contact Mercedes-Benz USA customer service at 1-800-367-6372.
If you own one of these vehicles, check your VIN for open recalls on the NHTSA website or with a dealer, and schedule the free headlight inspection.
