Keystone Raptor Recall 18V871: Propane Line Can Cause Fire if Grill Is Stored Lit

NHTSA campaign 18V871, reported December 7, 2018, 152 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The quick disconnect rubber propane line on certain trailers may be routed incorrectly. This can allow the outside grill to be stored while the propane supply is still on and the flame is still lit.

Storing a grill while its flame is still lit increases the risk of a fire. Owners should not store the grill with the flame on until the repair is made.

The repair is free. Dealers will replace the quick disconnect rubber propane line with a line that must be disconnected before the grill is stored. Contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369 (recall number 19-343), and check your vehicle identification number for any open recalls.
