What this recall means for you
Some 2019 recreational trailers may have been built with axle hub inner bearings that were not sufficiently greased. Without adequate lubrication, the bearings can overheat and fail, which may cause the hub to fail.
A hub failure can affect how the trailer handles and raises the risk of a crash. Owners of affected trailers should take this recall seriously and avoid towing until the issue is checked, if they have concerns.
Keystone RV Company will notify owners directly. Authorized dealers will inspect the axle hubs and bearings and repair them as needed at no cost to you. You can also contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369, referencing Keystone recall number 18-340, and check your trailer's VIN for open recalls.
