- Problem
- Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2019 Forest River Primetime Impression fifth wheels, model MPF3000RLS-49. The side marker lights are not located in the correct spot, reducing visibility of the vehicle to other drivers. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

- Reduced visibility of the fifth wheel can increase the risk of a crash.
- Remedy
- Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will remedy the vehicles, free of charge. The recall began November 1, 2018. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-862-1025. Forest River's number for this recall is 49-0891.

What this recall means for you
Certain 2019 fifth wheel trailers have side marker lights mounted in the wrong location. This makes the trailer harder for other drivers to see, and the lights do not meet federal lighting requirements under FMVSS 108.
Reduced visibility of the trailer can increase the risk of a crash, since other drivers may not notice it in time, especially at night or in low-light conditions.
