Livin Lite Camplite Recall 18V643: Trailer Drawbar May Crack and Separate From Tow Vehicle

NHTSA campaign 18V643, reported September 19, 2018, 154 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2017-2019 Livin' Lite CampLite travel trailers may have a drawbar that cracks, which could cause the trailer to separate from the tow vehicle.

If the trailer separates from the tow vehicle, the risk of a crash increases. Owners should stop towing a trailer they believe may be affected until it has been inspected.

Livin' Lite will notify owners, and authorized dealers will inspect the drawbar welds and repair them as needed, then install an additional tube to reinforce the drawbar. The repair is free of charge. Owners can contact Livin' Lite customer service at 1-800-768-4016, extension 154 or 153, and can check their VIN for open recalls.
