What this recall means for you
Certain 2019 Grand Design Reflection 295RL travel trailers have an outside 110V outlet that was not correctly wired to a ground-fault (GFI) protected circuit. If an appliance or other component plugged into that outlet develops an electrical problem, the outlet may not cut power quickly enough, so an electrical shock is possible, raising the risk of injury.
Grand Design will notify affected owners. Authorized dealers will install a new, correctly wired ground-fault receptacle at no cost to you. The recall began October 8, 2018.
Check whether your trailer is included by looking up your VIN for open recalls, and contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679 (recall number 900014) if you have questions. Until the repair is done, avoid plugging appliances into the outside outlet.
